Day Training

Residents are eligible to participate in day training programming. Day training, which provides active treatment in a structured setting with an emphasis on self-help, socialization and adaptive skills, takes place off-site at a nonresidential facility. Residents learn about life skills such as meal preparation and basic literacy, center-based activities such as crafts, games and music classes and more. All Day Training programming is coordinated with the entire interdisciplinary team at Alden Trails. The goal is to help residents attain or maintain their maximum functional level.
